Dave Sibbald

Bass Guitar / Vocals
Started playing in 1966, in a typical 60's style group the pawns. By the end of the 60's became enamoured of heavy rock joining bands such as the charmingly-named Bloodlump, then Warlock. Supported some really good bands Lindisfarne, Jack the Lad, Medicine Head, Uriah Heep, Chicken Shack, Blackfoot Sue, Rod Stewart's Faces, Ainsley Dunbar Retaliation, Nashville Teens, The Marmalade, Mungo Jerry, early Black Sabbath, Home, Steeleye Span, The Ivy League, Groundhogs to name a few! Then went back on to the club runs. In the 80's formed a duo The Christie Bros which lasted 12 years, then went into a resident band Enterprise backing typical club acts, and then joined 60's band Street Talk which again lasted about a dozen years. Had the pleasure of supporting all his heroes from the 60's The Fortunes, The Tremeloes, The Searchers, and Tony Christie. Involved with a few other bands, Travelling Man, Stroller, Strangeways, Full House, Passion Play, then got together with The Urban Spacemen, who he left in 2005, but has yet to be replaced. Enjoys all types of music, and especially likes singing backing vocals.
